Olympian Tae Kwon Do was founded on May 6, 1983, and is a proud member of the United States Chung Do Kwan Association. Our school is also certified by the World Tae Kwon Do Federation. The Owner and Head Instructor is 7th Degree Black Belt Professor Christopher Covert. He has over thirty years of martial arts experience including Tae Kwon Do, Aikido, Judo, and Grappling. He is a certified National and Chung Do Kwan tournament referee and Head Coach of the Michigan Olympian Tae Kwon Do Tournament Team. He has personally coached hundreds of State and National Champions. He was inducted into the United States Chung Do Kwan Association Hall Of Fame in 2005.
Alexander Covert is an 2008 AAU Olympic Team Member and donations to our team help students like Alexander achieve his dream of being able to represent his school and the United States in state, national and world competitions.
